Fucking awful. I didn't leave the house yesterday. We put two A/C window units upstairs. Downstairs has held pretty steady at just about 70F on its own. That $$ I spent on insulation has paid off.

Now what does the passive hand do?↳ Wendy del Formaggio @10:23
A wise choice. My new apartment is on the 4th floor of a pre-war brownstone with high ceilings. It's very bright with eastern and southern exposure. I need some blackout curtains to keep things cool during the day The portable A/C units I have in the living room and bedroom work okay, but keeping it dark would help more.
↳ Wendy del Formaggio @10:28
I concur.↳ Krys O. @10:28
Are you climbing four flights of stairs? Oof.↳ Krys O. @10:28
That sounds like a lovely apartment. Except maybe all those stairs...↳ Krys O. @10:28
Perfect for colder weather. 10:34pm↳ Krys O. @10:36
Well that sounds much better! and if you don't have all the windows blacked out, they should be good for plants, if you can have plants and cats coexisting↳ Krys O. @10:36
Yay elevator! My old pre-war apartment was a 5th-floor walk-up. I moved out when I was 34. It was rough climbing all those stairs after a long day of cheesemongering.
