Saw Abdullah Ibrahim last fall at Jazz at Lincoln Center (big group augmenting his trio of the time, much tribute to AI).
Have seen him many times over the years, starting with the Quartet with Carlos Ward, with Ekaya, in trios. My first date with MsJazz was at Sweet Basil's, where Abdullah Ibrahim and Ekaya were playing...   11:00am
