chris in the redwoods: the streams are great! there’s no FCC bullshit. DJs can be from *all* over w/o needing an engineer back at the mothership. There’s always going to be great shows all across the WoofMooVerse = more great music than one can listen to in any waking period. not listening to the streams is a big mistake for anyone who loves woofmoo. ♥ 4:36pm

...but *now*, without the drummer stream i probably wouldn't donate that much money to fmu. it's my main.

Ironside: The streams are fantastic!! One of my all time favourite WFMU shows is Transmissions From Echo Beach (Thursdays 8-11pm!) on Sheena's. I don't see it as a mothership vs streams, it's all good music. I just see it as if I'm not feeling a certain vibe of music in a certain moment, I can switch it up and there's always something FMU I can check out. ♥ 4:45pm
fred: The Sunday lineup on the Drummer stream is just awesome. The Arbitrarium is my fave show on the station these days (and some of what she plays wouldn't pass FCC rules) ♥ 4:49pm
doctorjazz: Not sure how the timing pans out, but there was some streaming I did before The Drummer Stream, Sheena were regular destinations. When the main station had JM in the AM on from 6-9, WFMU also had some DJs broadcast streams of non-Jewish music, which I used to catch before the regular DJs came on at 9 AM. ♥ 4:55pm
