Man, I tried listening after Sterling retired, and it just seemed so lifeless. He might have been inaccurate, but he had a style. And he was just ... one of ours, I guess. I don't know, I missed him way more than I expected to.

I kind of want her to do a stripped back album or something experimental where she follows her creative impulses further? I'm rambling, anyway, hi.
The outro piece IC played 2 (?) weeks ago is the kind of thing I barely want to hear once, definitely not twice. It's a shame, the rest of her stuff is really catchy

3d Country was my favorite album the year it was released. I think... I have a list somewhere because we used an average system for an end-of-the-year list.
Of course. But they were always consumer objects. I just think it's funny for people to get up in arms that a savvy marketing firm would use whatever they have at their disposal to get attention for a star property. It's not exactly a new problem for rock and roll.
I think the other issue is that the album was already divisive in some indie spaces because it got talked about as the best album of the year which created counter arguments.
It does get entertaining. It happens with King Gizzard now too because loud fanbase (that seemingly will invade any music space any time a new Gizz album comes out near that style).
