Good morning Brian, thanks for asking. Progress hasn't been as linear as I would like, but overall, the knee is doing well.Apropos your remarks on the shooting near the English team. When I was preparing to cover the World Cup nordic ski finals next door in Lake Placid, there was an article in Expressen, the Swedish newspaper. Some of the Swedish national team women were concerned about whether it was safe to come to the US. More due to ICE and illegal bombing of Iran rather than gun violence.

I haven't read "Cloudsplitter." However, I just started "Black in the Woods," by Amy Godine. Wealthy NY abolitionist Gerritt Smith owned vast tracts of land in the Adirondacks, and he offered plots to Black settlers in the mid 19th century. Back then, Black men had to prove they owned land in order to vote. Much of the Black settlement was right around where I live. Gerritt Smith also recruited John Brown to live in what came to be known as North Elba.↳ rx "rexy" scabin @8:30
