I’ve been thinking a lot about my own relationship with music as a listener - I don’t know anything technical about music, really, but I find myself listening more closely to stray instrument parts, interesting flickers of static, the way the music fits into my ears and the wrinkles of my brain. I want to learn to play something. As a way to bring me more in tune with the wild stray sounds that somehow magically become whole, complete songs.

It was released on May 11, 1993 by JMJ Records and Rush Associated Labels as the second single from Onyx's debut album, Bacdafucup. The song introduced slamdancing into hip-hop.
