Hi Bri...I'm about to fasten up my Mary Janes to get myself to a live show. But these are the perfect sounds to keep me moving towards getting ready.
Afterall...one can't spend all their Saturday time on the sofa listening to fmu...
Correction... actually...they kinda can!!!
;-)
Sounds fun!! It’s been ages since I’ve actually gone to a gig!

2 bands. Early show. Just Mustard are Irish & the headliners. Opener is possibly more synth/mix inclined...Miss Grit. She's apparently from Queens/NYC.
I've always found live music shows really invigorate...although I wont necessarily stay until the end if an artist/act loses my interest.
But I have fairly broad & eclectic tastes, so I'm not too tied into any particular "genre". Emerging artists are generally my favourites to catch as they seem to have a little more spark.
Watched it already and could not understand much of it. Those accents and the pace they speak at was too fast for me. Usually, I like those better than this one was.

MTV 79-84 was just so great! Work was tough, was doing radio too and layin on the couch with a beer and my MTV and clicker remote was what I needed nightly!
Yo Sunk! Keeping one ear on Snyale and the other on my own show a-buildin'

Oh man! Haven't heard this song in YEARS! The 3 top stations in NYC (WNEW, WAPP AND WPLJ) played this song TO DEATH in 1982-83! Hard to find gem!

Some interesting facts as I look into these stations: WPLJ was originally gonna be WRIF (my local rock station ) which originally wanted to be WDAI which accidentally went to WLS-Fm!

Song:
"What Do You Dream Of" by "Marshall Crenshaw"
I'm now safely seated on the bus.
Marshall Crenshaw has written two of my all time favourite songs...
Someday, Someway & Cynical Girl.
He still tours a little but not in this neck of the woods, unfortunately.

Where I live on the Panhandle…selling incoming talent stinks….and I had No Idea AC was coming…and he was probably the biggest gig of the year in these parts…
↳
Song:
"I've Got A Way Of My Own" by "The Hollies"
I told my bandmates that previously every song I wrote was an attempt to write the next Hollies hit but recently have been emulating Ellie Greenwich. Might go back to ripping off the Hollies.
10:34pm
Van Winkle ;-):
↳
Song:
"I'll Never Find Another You" by "The Seekers"
now that I know Glynis can't find a certain record in her price range I want to get it for her! I also have a friend who wants Guess I'm Dumb so I need to locate that too.
↳
Song:
"Your Mother Should Know" by "The Beatles"
I love this section of the Trivia Pursuit music edition, at first I’d be like, “mom you should know this!” She’d be like “More like Grandma!” Now I probably know all of them! 😂
The radio signals on the second half were baked into the mono mix and not recorded to the master tape so for the stereo mix, they had to collapse it to a fake stereo version of the mono mix for the second half.
Thanks for a stellar show, Snayle! Top shelf nite of music 🎶
Happy Mother's Day to all Moms!!☮️

Another Paul is Dead clue cover, but one clue was the big stars in Beatles gave some phone number to call and I cant find any numbers there.Blissland: it received a lot of criticism most of which seemed reactionary to me
Stu Rutherford:
↳ Don Ciccone @10:48
One of the few stereo Beatles mixes I prefer over mono due to the excessive flanging on the latter.OH_I_Will:

The radio signals on the second half were baked into the mono mix and not recorded to the master tape so for the stereo mix, they had to collapse it to a fake stereo version of the mono mix for the second half.Snayle:
