Jason, hung out last night at Saturn Bar with clarke from the boards. We saw this alt country band from Nashville called Charlie Hill. He's originally from Jersey and his drummer, too. Drummer is friends with Joe Belock, clarke said. We were talking with them for a while at the bar after they played. Cool dudes! They were great! He's got a new rekkid coming out very soon!

Jason, on the way home tomorrow, I'm leaving pretty early and going to friends, a couple that I know from our biz. Their company is one of our customers. I know them from conventions. Going to spend Sunday with them and going to the Frog fest in Rayne nearby for a Cajun festival - proper zydeco and food! Looking forward to it!

They live in Lafayette. Forgot to say that. So, it's Lafayette for me tomorrow! Back to Austin on Monday with a pitstop in Houston to take some art my friend bought at JF and stuff she left back to her! Lol
Big time rain, then; I'm on the opposite end of town, almost to St. Bernard.
We had a big explosion at the refinery in St. Bernard yesterday (nobody hurt). I thought it was really close thunder, but it was a couple of miles away. I could see the doors shaking.
Being in the room while this is happening is something special. I will never miss this gig when I'm in New Orleans.
