Belated howdy to folks. Only just learned about this show last night; the timing is terrible for me but I'm able to catch the second half today! :)
I heard about the show's debut from Mr. Fab, so I managed to catch the first episode. This and What Have You are the two WFMU debuts I can say I was there for.
I can tell already I'm going to be a regular archive surfer for this show. Time zones will make listening live inpractical most of the time, but I'm happy to have found it!

These laws allow lenders significant flexibility in setting interest rates, often allowing them to operate under Delaware law even when lending to borrowers in other states"

Song:
"My Baby's A Good 'Un" by "Otis Rush and His Band"
So, ironically, at one point I owned an Otis Rush record (despite never having owned a turntable—I know, I know, I'm a blasphemer). I was in uni and a flatmate's brother was a huge Rush fan so I bet him I could get him a Rush album for his birthday that he'd never seen before. The joke went over like you'd expect.

It feels more in-line with the tijuanna brass than R&B.MHLee: I should note these are not the literal 45s I grabbed as I packed my record player to move.
