Hello Good People! I’m coming to you from New Orleans LA this morning! Mabel is back at the home studio in New Jersey and she’s got the magic formula for a good Thursday! We’re trying something a little different today because we had less time to put together our show. Hoping you’ll enjoy it despite it not being one of our “regular” shows. We’ll be here live on the chats throughout. Thank you all for tuning in!

You'll never walk alone.
Hey myron! We’re gonna go later today and I really don’t have an idea who is playing. Gonna just go by feel and word of mouth. Later this week, we’ll be seeing Little Feat. My friend Tony plays drums for them these last few years so I’m looking forward to catching up with him
It’s not really a new format. I just couldn’t do my usual segments today so I’m keeping it music only today. And I’m not announcing the tunes after I play them. That way, I can possibly use this recording as a template for future time constraint shows. Does that make sense?
Hi PJ, Mabel!
We're digin this Time Out!
Have a blast in NOLA!

Best Po' Boys in N.O. is the Parkway Bakery and Tavern on the Bayeau St. John parkwaypoorboys.com
They bake the break that other places use --- that utterly unique N.O. style of french bread that you can't get anywhere else on earth. The fried shrimp Po' Boy is maybe the best sandwich I've ever eaten.
Parkway Bakery for po' boys -- Killer Po' Boys is also good
Casamento's for oysters, also Felix's
Fine dining: see if you can get a reservation at Galatoire's -- you need a jacket/sport coat -- SO worth it.

Al Bowlly! A favourite of mine, PJ. Nice pick.
Sad story - he played his final gig in High Wycombe, where I went to school, but refused to stay over the night and caught the last train back into central London. His flat got a direct hit by a Luftwaffe bomb in the night and he perished.
