Back on Bainbridge Island, I had a huge picture window with a glass ornament where a cousin shot a BB through it. Still got bird strikes. Here, I have smaller windows -- this is the first bird strike here. 11:39am

Ornaments are what my wife has put on the enormous backyard window. It was premature of me to claim that they're helping. Not enough time has passed to draw any inferences. I believe that there's some sort of filmy thingy that can cover an entire window and do something to the nearby photons discouraging birds from approaching it. Not sure, though.

In any event, it is a testament to your character that you're bothered. Me, I was pretty upset when the first bird hit a few weeks ago. The second bird last week didn't trouble me very much. Cold, cold heart.
