since I had so much trouble with my g37 I decided never to get another car that has a check engine light or requires a carb compliant exhaust. Also mandatory pre-purchase inspection
i try to stick with at least 25 years old, and better yet '96 or older.
no "all wheel drive", no anti-lock brakes, no touch-screen anything, manual transmission... but even an '87 volvo has computers fucking things up.
...so, i compromise. but yeah, at least old enough that the check engine light doesn't matter, legally.
the thing with the 300zx, why I didn't fix it and instead got the g37, the frame needs a lot of work and would not have passed inspection last year, and the last time I drove it the cooling system exploded. So I don't know if the head gasket is blown or the block is cracked. All I know is it won't hold coolant. So I'd have to have it towed to find out

Well it will certainly be interesting to see what plays out in 2 years when NASA/Space X/Amazon/Walmart/Sears/ToyRUs try to put astronauts on the moon "again".
p.o.s. bush knew too. and i do think humans have been to the moon - not that it's beyond human nature to fake it and lie, but because i think we had the technology, and it's the taxpayers paying the bill; so why not?
and computers were bigger than my bathroom! ...but then Einstein was working out all kinds of stuff decades before...
