One of the most romantic evenings I ever had, a lady was making me dinner and we had the music going perfectly and the meal was being prepared by her and I was helping
And she dropped her kitchen knife and tried to catch it and it sliced her palm open
So we spent 3 hours in the ER instead, talking and joking and bleeding (only one of us)
I drove her there and back, and we made sandwiches later that night
Very nice--was a good time and nice way to tribute/celebrate him? I remember some of the drivers when I'd go with my dad, but didn't know the trainers' names.

Or maybe he grabbed the hot pan without a side towel, during the ceremonial cooking of the western omelette. The kitchen can be treacherous, pixie for the Pidge! ✨✨

Minor kitchen accident probably means a cut or a burn. One time, I was cooking steaks in a cast iron pan; seared them, tossed them in the oven, and was busy talking to someone when I decided to pull the cast iron pan out of the oven with my bare hand. We did not eat steak that night.

commercial jalapeños have gotten milder and milder over time due to commercial pressure. many people do not like 'em too spicy for things like jalapeño poppers at Chilis. so it's easier to make the peppers weak and add heat than the other way 'round
also growing conditions - you probably know about this - stress raises capsaicin levels. Too much water, too rich soil - produces milder peppers. Lots of hot sun, not too much water, leaner soil = hotter peppers
