At the beginning of the interview, I mentioned that Nathan was an Author and a Heavy Metal drummer. His books are pretty great, and his horror short fiction is excellent, too. I also recommend his other band, Witch Moutain, who have been making great PNW Metal for 30 years.

I started booking shows in 1994, and it was not easy. A lot of phone calls, sending a lot of tapes so the venue could sample your music, going into the venues to follow up, etc. Touring must have been another level; I only ever did local stuff, until the Internet Age. My first "tour" that left the state wasn't until well into the 2010's.

Song:
"Priest With A Badge" by "Point Line Plane"
This album, as we will mention later in the interview, was only ever on CD. It's being reissued on vinyl this year, for the first time, in a remastered form. We're hearing the remastered tracks tonight.
If anyone ever wants to text me about their dreams, I would be happy to hear about it. I've done at least 5 or 6 radio shows about dreams, and I have at least one more on the can that hasn't aired yet. I'm enamored with dreams.

I bought this comp when it came out, along with a Live Screamers two-disc CD set. This was my introduction to Point Line Plane, and it was this comp that made me realize that I might like them.
I think the demos are finally available in some capacity, on vinyl, where the remaining members get some money from sales. I keep meaning to look into that rumor.

Song:
"The Messenger (Live)" by "Point Line Plane"
I was gonna go to this show anyway, and wouldn't have had an issue paying. But I did get tapped to work the door for the venue, and got to hang out with the band, run a video camera, and made a little "bootleg" of the show for "journalistic" purposes. I promise, you won't hear it all.
