I'd somehow not heard Magazzini Criminali until this week, it's so up my alley. this first track from the album just grabbed me by the throat
dhomont took a bunch of music from his students (and record label mates and cut them up and stitched them back together
dhomont was THE teacher of electroacoustic composition in canada (i think at mcgill?) so a lot of it is a who's who of the montreal-based electroacoustic music scene (seen in the empreintes digitales label)
