fred, I prefer taking my Val Wilmer intravenously, too.↳ fred @9:12
That is what it means, fred, though we are thinking of enrolling our dog, Louie, in some continuing ed classes just to keep the college visit habit going.↳ DJ Peter @9:11
Glad to see you, DJ Peter! 9:16am↳ sailor dog @9:09
My mother spent a year at Vassar because that's where her mother went and her mother's mother, and that, I learned, is why all her siblings have a Norfolk VA accent and she does not↳ Jeff Golick @9:13
No way. You can send your kids away for months (both sides need a break at that point), but not your dog!↳ Song: "Steps of the Sun" by "Bill Orcutt · Mabe Fratti"

Well I can't unhear that! Hola, AlanR!↳ tom tom the pipers son @9:27
It tends to happen with anemia, people think it's a metaphor. It's dismissed because it mainly affects women, so there's no research into itHearing ethereal guitar and piano now. Half hour ago was hearing Pharaoh Sanders Black Unity on Carol's program. All good and reminder that WFMU is a source from which to expect the unexpected.
↳ WR @9:34
WR! You got that right. 9:36am↳ WR @9:34
Hi there, WR!↳ chresti @9:36
I was told to "just take iron, you'll be fine"↳ fred @9:39

Geez, chresti! That's a lot to hang on a baby.↳ fred @9:39

Well, there were no instructions for drawing one.↳ WR @9:49
She ignored me beyond asking for a better view, No eye contact, ran away just after. The Hippie Hammer effect...↳ fred @9:44
I'm not sure how much iron is absorbed from a pill.↳ Cemetery Dave @9:49
i guess you could always knock and have someone open the door from thr other side↳ chresti @9:51
More fun: I'm not allowed leafy stuff (interferes with blood thinners) 9:54am↳ tom tom the pipers son @9:52

My initial reaction is that having Guinness prescribed would just make it be 3 or 4 times more expensive for the first $1500 but then realized that the situation in France is different than in the USA.↳ Song: "Lament" by "Alan Skidmore's Tenor Tonic"

Scooped again, David Mittleman played two tracks from this last night. Two different tracks though, but I am not a subscriber to the concept that WFMU DJs should not play something already played in the last week or month or whatever. So why am I pointing out the parallel playlist contents? To invite more folks to check in on Mittleman's program, of course. It took me a little while to get over my reluctance to play something that had recently been played on a different FMU show. (Including mine.)

Another I haven't seen, this is Rollins when he was in exploritory mode (I think of 3 periods, but that's just me. I am pretty good at identifying standards by ear, but Sonny Rollins always leads me astray. He's famous for melodic improvisation, but he also seldom plays the melody straight, even in the first and last choruses.↳ Song: "It Could Happen To You" by "Sonny Rollins"
is there an album cover that shoots Sonny Rollins from above? because I think we've covered all the other angles↳ Listener Gregory @11:48
