So jealous of my older brother, Red Hurlbutt. He met Divine and got to party with him backstage during the Neon Women stage tour. And he got to meet Edie Massey (got her autograph to me for me)!
If you don't know her, she's worked with Mike Flanagan some, his mini-series The Midnight Club and Fall Of The House of Usher. She's an Irish double amputee who may be the only actress working with the energy of Amanda Plummer or Fairuza Balk at their fiercest

Saw the new Faces of Death last night, am stuck on a scene where a character explains what the original was (because who under 50 would know? And he did it without using the word 'mondo') and says 'but it was all fake, people were pissed'. I laughed out loud at that, having never met anyone who saw it at the time who didn't make fun of the obvious fakeness.
The plot is a basic slasher, a guy is remaking key scenes from the original but with real people really getting killed...and he doesn't even cosplay as Francis B. Gröss to kill people, he just uses a kind of generic Strangers all-white mask. Boo.

I've been thinking about how you'd work sharks into that scenario for an Asylum movie...a sharknado puts the sharks into the upper atmosphere, then the rain bomb shoots them straight down and then, right before they splat, change course and zoom along with the straight line winds, eating everybody in all directions.
