Good morning cricket! The dog woke me up at 5:30 so we walked around the NJ pine barrens, listened to birds and picked up a few ticks. Now it’s cawfee time.
Once the 4th Dark Bottle album is out (just starting the search for a label now), I'll have to see if there is a way to get a physical copy to the station. It's very different from the solo album but I think there could be some stuff WFMU DJs might like.

@cricket the sandhill crane spent the last few days in my old hometown of Rahway, where it became a local celebrity. Down here in the Pines, we heard plenty of towhees, chickadees, warblers and ovenbirds calling in the trees.

always love accordions. finally got around to replacing the internal mic in my old pawn shop accordion. It was an adventure but got it working again (after careful application of rubber weatherstripping to seal the gaps). And Don, the banjo sounded great!

Next week is ARMED FORCES WEEK, so our VA social counselors and recreation therapists have a spate of activities set up to keep us busy celebrating. Should be fun. Have a great weekend!
