guh my frickin internet has been cutting out for a coupla minutes at a time every 10 mins or so all day today and I happen to have a TON of work to do and WFMU to listen to so I am double-plus unhappy today
yeah - odd, my laptop/stream is working fine, but looked like wifi dropped and I couldn't access digital tracks live...so I scrambled to throw on some 45s, but my show is prepped with some digital to start! I "think" wifi is back...we'll see! haha...

I played their first two albums into the ground but some reason only got to see X once, at Bogart right after Ain't Love Grand came out.
Gun Club I'm not as familiar with as X. I should listen more. John Doe turned into quite a good character actor as well. He's been in some good movies in bit parts.
To be honest the only Gun Club song I can think of right now is She Is Like Heroin to Me which I love. But like I said I'm mostly unfamiliar. Mark Lanegan talked about Jeffrey Lee Pierce all the time as brilliant and I'd take his word for it.
I am 5th generation Los Angeles. I married a wonderful woman from Alabama, and we decided to move to this place in Baldwin County, Alabama. I thought for 5 years. BUTTTT 20 years later. We will be vacating this State very soon.
A show at a brewery where I got an overpriced beer in a small plastic cup (smart, in a packed punk show) purported to be a stout but tasted like bitter fruit punch
