Malcontent: I first saw Al D in Rochester around 1979, touring Casino; and then caught every single Guitar Trio tour, with the RTF reunion in between all that.

Thought criticized as a speed demon (more flash than emotion), I have to admit that the sequence of Al coming on stage solo before Paco and McL was always a fantastic theatrical move.
