It would be cool to run this against the "Relax" jam from The Who Live at the Fillmore. Cream's jamming is heavier and blusier while The Who's is sharp and ballistic.

I really don't know for sure. Big Brother recorded there professionally, there's this Cream show, there's a Mothers Of Invention set from '68 but not a lot else as far as national acts. There are some from the local bands like the MC5, Rationals and Frost, though.

Surprisingly, no. There is a recording when they played the Eastown Theater in Detroit in 1971 but so far, no recording of the Dead at the Grande has ever surfaced. There are Leni Sinclair photographs but no recordings that I am aware of.
