Googled Joujouka, curious about specific geo origin of the music, and several returns were about the Master Musicians even before the location's Wiki page was listed. Masters have put the place name squarely on the web reference map.

More likely a cafe in Tangier. But he did get out and about, especially when he was recording folk music. His whole collection of recordings, field notes, and photos is now publicly available here: www.archnet.org...
