I had the pleasure of meeting MOM WHIG in the mid-to-later 90's, at FuzzFest held in Atlanta's Little Five Points. My memories are of that of such a friendly and fun person...and so supportive of, and enthusiastic about, her son and daughter-in-law's, the Fest's hosts big undertaking - no easy feat considering the logistics of having so many (great) bands on the bill! I even caught a moment where Marti stepped up to be a MOM to her son during a stressful moment. I'll never forget that moment. 😇
