Went as a favor to a friend who got dumped right before prom. Made up the missed show many times over the years, but the prom just sucked. As the bad band was playing “Always and Forever”, I was singing “Pinhead” and planning my escape.🤪
That was like me when I took my SAT exams. Someone asked me what time I was coming to school on a Saturday and I said what!?!? Needless to say, I scored very low.
Right! Yeah I even thought I wouldn’t be able to go to the community college. I failed the early college math test. Thankfully I haven’t taken a math course at college

Lol no, I guess I was the only student at my school who was nice to him so he’d talk to me after class (nothing inappropriate, said I was like a daughter) but there were some really rude kids that blew up and bullied him, the one kid was cussing and yelling, had to be pulled out by parents and principle
I don't know how teachers handle it. If I were forced to teach I'd probably impale someone's child on the back wall and ask if anyone had any questions. It would drive me utterly mental.

My dad’s students seemed cool though..there are actually memes floating around about him catching kids lurking in the hall during class time lol
I know someone who got a garduate degree in teaching music from Columbia U (she's a professional musician)- tried a couple of teaching jobs & hated it. Now she's doing pick up jobs while trying to pay off an exorbitant school loan. Awful situation- you can't win.
Can’t offer any advice. I flunked out very early, my mom had just passed and I was only really doing it for her to begin with. Blue collar life for me (although when my dad nearly passed, he did express wishes for me to graduate some day)
They’ve gone up with inflation l? since I’ve started. You could get fired pretty easily at my old warehouse and the managers were slave drivers. Like “get it done or someone else will” not like that here at anll, and much slower pace.
