Olleh! Greetings!↳ Webhamster Henry @1:07
I didn't know that. I used to run into Brian Dewan a bit when I'd visit friends in Williamsburg ages ago. I saw his performance at Lincoln Center accompanying some Wladyslaw Starewicz animation shorts. 1:12pm↳ tup @1:12
Hello, tup! That is correct. 1:14pm↳ tup @1:20
It looks like 'gub'. 1:23pm↳ tup @1:23
That was a joke from the movie Take the Money and Run. The bank robber passes a note that the bank tellers are unable to decipher because of the handwriting.↳ Spikey BXL @1:23
Hi, Spikey! Great to have you here.↳ Krys O. @1:24
Glad I could make it, dinner time saturday evening is a hard slot to make usually.↳ Song: "Big Electric Cat" by "Adrian Belew"

Always a pleasure.↳ Song: "Serenade for Guitar and Percussion" by "Lou Harri...
I was thrifting earlier and found a TIME label goodie by the same name. Except it’s 60s and the guitarist Al Caiola.↳ Olleh @1:34
That's interesting. I'm not sure how far back Harrison's composition goes. I recall the great New World Records compilations of third stream jazz and modern classical music. It is a stripped down title, not necessarily generic, but somehow general. It stands to reason there would be other different compositions named thus.↳ Krys O. @1:38
The pairing is unusual in my thrift sifting. I love many of those Enoch Light/ Command and TIME label offerings. Usually it’s a “ many strings of Tony Mottalla thing. But Al Caiola, on a great pristine pressing, I could not resist.↳ Olleh @1:44
I'd go for it.↳ Krys O. @1:38
I could ask my friend Jody, who was Harrison's gamelan teacher and now owns his Si Betty gamelan.↳ Webhamster Henry @1:46
Fantastic! Thanks, Henry.↳ Song: "Goodbye to Rome (Arrividerci Roma)" by "Georgia G...

Glad to hear it. 2:10pm↳ Webhamster Henry @1:46
Gamelan specialist Jody Diamond?↳ Erik dwells VT @2:10
Yep that's her! Larry died last year, I'm in Jody's gamelan here in Kingston. We played a show last week.. 2:21pm↳ Webhamster Henry @2:18
You just reminded me of someone that I worked with in the 90s because he played Gamelan on the weekends. He was mostly a fan of the Grateful Dead. I haven't thought of that in decades. 2:22pm↳ Song: "Make Myself Over" by "Gayle McCormick"
thank you for this intro to Gayle McCormick - somehow missed her career! 🤷♂️. This 2nd album cover choice is quite the 1972 image - wonder if she was happy with it? those crochet 🧶 halter tops take me back to youthful reminiscing.😊💭. Have they ever made a comeback?↳ Erik dwells VT @2:22
There were times that that esthetic, with macrame and all, came round since then. 2:24pm↳ Webhamster Henry @2:18

The book Stevens / Picasso book of etching was published in '77↳ WR @2:28
Wallace Stevens sounds interesting as well. I know nothing of him.↳ Krys O. @2:29
To see that he was an insurance company executive and a modernist poet is mind-blowing.↳ Song: "David Hockney on Hockney" by "BBC TV and David Ho...
Have y’all seen the Luca Guadagnino movie “A Bigger Splash” (2015) w/ Tilda Swinton & other great actors perfs! - it’s the title of famous Hockney painting that was discussed. Apparently it’s a ‘remake’ of 2 older films I’ve forgotten about - ‘La Piscine’ (1969) & ‘Swimming Pool’ (2003). Romy Schneider is one of my faves🫀.↳ Erik dwells VT @2:43
Duly noted.↳ Song: "Soulless Cycle" by "L'Rain"
Is this great or what! Saw her in concert a couple years ago↳ Olleh @2:44
