IT之家, May 17 – WeChat HarmonyOS version App today released an early access upgrade of 8.0.17.38 (8392998) on Huawei AppGallery (no need to click a link to install after receiving an SMS notification). The testing period is 2026/5/17 – 2026/6/16.

• The song page of Listen supports opening the current song in QQ Music.

• Listen has added "Song Production" and "Music Space", supporting AI Songwriting and AI Cover (expected to be a beta feature, and currently not available on Android and iOS).Android and iOS also do not have this feature yet.

• Card Wallet beta opens membership card feature.

• Supports scanning QR codes for receiving photos and files face-to-face from iOS/Android devices, and transferring photos and files to iOS/Android devices.

• The interface style of the "My" QR code is unified with "Scan - My QR code", and you can choose to display the QR code for "Add Me as a Friend" or "Face-to-Face Red Packet" (rolling out gradually).

• Beta friend's profile page adds an entry for linking friend's account to Channels.

• Grayscale testing supports chatting with Yuanbao

• When adding new friends in grayscale testing, the verification information is extracted to quickly fill in the remark when passing the friend verification

• In Moments, when you click on a comment image to view the full picture, the bottom left corner supports displaying the commenter's nickname and comment content text
