I wonder if you still remember the ASUS TUF 6X gaming desktop we reviewed around this time last year. Its mecha-inspired design and relatively affordable price were its main selling points. Recently, we received the next-generation ASUS TUF 7X high-performance gaming desktop, which comes with a fully upgraded exterior and configuration. Today, let's take a first look at its design.

The ASUS TUF 7X has been upgraded to a larger chassis with a 47L capacity, and its dimensions have increased to 414*232*490.3mm. A large tempered glass panel fully covers the front and left side of the chassis, bringing the total weight to 18kg.

The ASUS TUF 7X is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 mobile processor 275HX, fabricated using TSMC's N3B process technology. It features a 24-core (8P+16E) design, with a maximum turbo frequency of 5.4GHz and power consumption up to 160W. The Core Ultra 9 275HX processor delivers excellent energy efficiency and strong gaming performance, providing an outstanding gaming experience for players.

The body lines of the ASUS TUF 7X are square and neat, with a dual-layer design on the front panel. The outer panel features a mecha-style X-shaped decoration, with a vertical light strip from the TUF series in the middle, and an esports-style TX GAMING logo on the right side. The outer glass panel uses 6.5H hardness tempered glass, which is impact-resistant and scratch-resistant, providing excellent protection for the machine. The tempered glass is also treated with an ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) coating, which effectively shields electromagnetic interference, improving the lifespan and operational stability of internal components.

The inner panel is equipped with three 120mm intake fans, and through the upper and lower "windows" of the outer panel, two fan-shaped areas with RGB lighting effects are exposed, further enhancing the atmosphere. Combined with the internal 240mm all-in-one liquid cooling and the exhaust fan at the rear, they form an internal airflow channel to improve heat dissipation efficiency.

Upon closer inspection, you'll find a circular TX Logo at the bottom of the front panel, which is only visible under specific lighting and angles.

The top of the machine features a prismatic independent power button with an illuminated logo, and provides a set of 3.5mm headphone jack and microphone jack, 2 USB-A ports (5Gbps speed) and 1 USB-C port (5Gbps speed).

A thick dust-proof net is laid on the top, and the rear area is printed with the circular TX Logo and the words "TX GAMING", retaining individuality and recognition while making it hard to confuse with other chassis accessories.

The left side of the chassis also features a single removable tempered glass panel, whose black-transparent finish makes the interior look deeper and softer. At the same time, the double-layer hollow structure of the front panel can be seen from the side.

Lifting the side tempered glass, you can see that the interior of the chassis has many decorations to enhance the ambiance.

First, the CPU area is covered with a 240mm liquid cooler featuring the TX logo, and both the water block and fans support RGB lighting. On the right side, there is also RGB decoration inspired by the Tianxuan series (天选系列).

The graphics card is equipped with a custom bracket to enhance support while also protecting the motherboard's PCIe slot and the graphics card's gold fingers.

The power supply compartment at the bottom of the chassis uses an independent shell, with the text "TX GAMING STATION" printed on its surface, along with diagonal decorative strips similar to those on the front panel.

An RGB light strip is placed in the gap between the power supply compartment and the shell, and on the right side, a glowing "NO GAME NO LIFE" slogan is displayed.

On the aluminum panel to the right of the power supply compartment, there is also a white circular TX Logo, the ASUS TUF Gaming logo, an X-shaped indicator light decorative element, and the "NO GAME NO LIFE" logo.

It can be said that the entire interior of the machine incorporates a large number of classic design elements from the TUF series, many of which support RGB lighting effects. Combined with the tempered glass side-panel sea-view chassis and Aura Sync, players can fully experience the charm of dimensional aesthetics.

The layout of the back of the chassis is relatively standard.
