IT之家 reported on May 17 that, according to Cailianshe, Gotion High-tech announced the latest progress in solid-state batteries at its 15th Global Technology Conference today. After upgrading the cell technology, the energy density reaches 400Wh/kg. Currently, the company's 2GWh solid-state battery production line is under construction, and it has been connected to multiple scenario customers. According to the plan, Gotion High-tech's annual production capacity of lithium sulfide will be 300 tons this year, 20,000 tons in 2027, and 50,000 tons in 2030, to meet the demand for 150GWh solid-state batteries.

IT之家 noted that at Gotion High-tech's Global Technology Conference last May, Gotion High-tech announced that it had built a full solid-state battery pilot line, with a designed capacity of 0.2GWh, 100% independently developed production line, 100% domestically produced core equipment, and 30+ patent applications. According to the business leader's on-site introduction, the pilot sample parameters show that the cell energy density is 350Wh/kg, with a single-cell capacity of 70Ah, and vehicle testing has already begun.

In addition, 国轩高科 previously released its G 垣 quasi-solid-state battery. As a 197 Ah prismatic battery, its cell energy density can reach over 300 Wh/kg, and the system energy density can reach over 235 Wh/kg, which is more than 36% higher than the energy of a liquid battery system of the same volume.
