On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers concluded their series with the Houston Astros (in Texas).

The Dodgers won by a score of 12-2.

Freddie Freeman finished with one hit and two walks.

Freeman Moves Ahead Of Derek Jeter On All-Time MLB List

Freeman also made MLB history by moving ahead of New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter on the all-time walks list.

@RobBballHistory: “Freddie Freeman recorded his 1,083rd career Walk, passing Hall of Famer Derek Jeter for 94th on the All Time Walks list.”

Freeman is in his fifth year playing for the Dodgers.

The future Hall of Famer is currently batting .279 with 39 hits, three home runs, 19 RBI’s and 13 runs in his first 35 games of the 2026 season.

Jack Harris of The California Post wrote (during Wednesday’s game): “Since this stance change yesterday, Freddie Freeman has roped a couple opposite-field doubles –– incld one to score Shohei Ohtani in today’s fourth inning It’s been a good sign for Freeman, who only had two oppo-doubles (and nine total opposite-field hits) previously this year”

Before the Dodgers, Freeman spent the first 12 years of his career with the Atlanta Braves.

The nine-time MLB All-Star has won three World Series Championships.
