On Saturday, the Los Angeles Dodgers will continue their series with the Chicago Cubs (at home).

They are coming off a 6-4 loss on Friday.

Will Smith finished the game with one home run and three RBI’s in four at-bats.

For Saturday’s game, the Dodgers have announced their starting lineup.

Underdog MLB wrote: “Dodgers 4/25 S. Ohtani DH F. Freeman 1B M. Muncy 3B K. Tucker RF T. Hernández LF D. Rushing C A. Pages CF H. Kim SS A. Freeland 2B R. Sasaki SP”

Will Smith will not be in the lineup against the Cubs on Saturday.

Smith is currently batting .266 with three home runs, 14 RBI’s and 11 runs in his first 24 games of the season.

He is in his eighth season (all with the Dodgers).

Jake Kirby of FPTrack.com wrote: “Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith will rest during the Saturday game against the Chicago Cubs according to Jack Harris of the California Post. Will Smith is out of the starting lineup for routine rest, so fantasy managers should bench him today.”

Smith’s Incredible Run With The Dodgers

Smith is one the verge of becoming a franchise legend.

He has made the All-Star Game in each of the previous three seasons.

Last year, Smith batted .296 with 17 home runs, 61 RBI’s, 64 runs and two stolen bases in 110 games.
