On Wednesday night, the New York Yankees continued their series with the Texas Rangers (at home) in the Bronx.
The Yankees lost by a score of 6-1.
Yerry de los Santos pitched 3.1 innings allowing one hit and one walk with five strikeouts (and no earned runs).
After the game, the Yankees announced that they have optioned de los Santos back to Triple-A.

Santos is in his second season playing for the Yankees.
He has also spent time with the Pittsburgh Pirates over four MLB seasons.
Right now, the 28-year-old has a 1.69 ERA with six strikeouts in two games (5.1 innings) this season.
