Inter Toronto treated their fans at York Lions Stadium to an entertaining matchup, which featured several goals. Skublak scored a brace in Toronto’s dominant 4-1 victory over defending CPL champions Atletico Ottawa.

The Toronto forward’s 1st goal was an excellent finish that beat Ottawa’s goalkeeper Garissone Innocent at the far post. After he scored, Skublak immediately held his business card up to the camera and promoted his real estate work.

In addition to playing in the Canadian Premier League, Skublak works as a realtor in the Greater Toronto Area for Platinum Lion Reality Inc. According to his website, he offers personalized guidance to buyers, sellers, and investors.

“Call me,” Skublak said, along with a phone gesture, during his goal celebration.

The moment prompted a hilarious call from play-by-play announcer Adam Jenkins, who praised Skublak’s versatility.

“If you need a home in the GTA, you call Tomasz Skublak,” Jenkins said on the broadcast. “If you need a goal, you call Tomasz Skublak.”

“I’m a full-time player here at Inter Toronto, as well as a full-time realtor,” he said post-match. “I figured, I spend a lot of money on marketing for my business outside of football, so get some free marketing in here.”

Balancing life as a CPL player takes a physical toll, especially with travel and time zone changes across Canada. Managing that workload alongside a real estate career adds another layer of difficulty. If he continues his strong performances, Skublak could build a larger following and possibly attract new clients.

Skublak Continues Strong Start to CPL Season

Skublak has made an immediate impact on Inter Toronto since joining the club in the offseason. In four matches, he has scored three goals and sits tied tied with teammate Julian Altobelli for the league lead.

The club rebranded from York United FC during the offseason and now builds a new identity that will shape its long-term success. Inter Toronto returns to action on May. 10, when they face CS Saint-Laurent in the preliminary round of the Canadian Championship.
