The injury to Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow opened the door in the AFC North even wider for Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

The Baltimore Ravens will release their full schedule today, but we already know who the Ravens opponents will be in the 2026 season.

There are plenty of marquee matchups that you would want to have your eyes on. We’re here to tell you what those matchups are. Whenever Lamar Jackson takes the field, he is always an easy box office attraction.

After a disappointing 2025 season, the Baltimore Ravens will look to bounce back. Take a look at some matchups that have great storylines already.

Ravens v. Steelers

Baltimore fans close your eyes…

Who can forget the Tyler Loop missed field goal to end the 2025 regular season? Despite some late heroics by Lamar Jackson, the Pittsburgh Steelers eliminated the Baltimore Ravens from playoff contention.

“A heartbreaking 26-24 loss at Pittsburgh in the regular-season finale sent the Ravens home, eliminating them from the playoffs. However, a 27-22 loss to the Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium earlier last season was also a critical defeat. It was one of six home losses the Ravens suffered as they finished with the worst home record (3-6) in franchise history.” Clifton Brown wrote in a Baltimore Ravens article.

New head coach Jesse Minter already stated winning at home will be a priority this year. It seems in recent years the Ravens have had much more success winning on the road than at home which is pretty bizarre.

This season will mark the first time in 18 seasons that the classic Ravens/Steelers matchup won’t feature John Harbaugh or Mike Tomlin. One thing for certain, two things for sure, these teams do not like each other no matter who the coach is.

Ravens v. Bengals

AFC North fans get a treat every year when two of the top 5 quarterbacks in the NFL square off twice a year. Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow have been two of the more elite quarterbacks in the NFL. This rivalry will have more juice than ever before considering who signed with the Ravens this offseason.

“Baltimore’s trip to Cincinnati will have special meaning for outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson, who left the Bengals to sign with the Ravens this offseason.” Brown wrote. “Hendrickson would love to make life miserable for quarterback Joe Burrow in a triumphant return against his former team. Jackson owns an 11-3 career record as a starter against the Bengals, and if he continues owning them, it will be harder for Cincinnati to take the division.”

Ravens v. Bills

Last season, the Baltimore Ravens opened the 2025 season against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

Again, Ravens fans, close your eyes…

This honestly may have been the last game we saw a fully healthy Lamar Jackson. In 2025, Jackson was off to a good start in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills. Jackson threw for 209 yards with three total touchdowns against Buffalo. In a game where the Ravens were supposed to walk away with a win, it was nothing short of choke job.

“The Bills overcame a 15-point deficit with under four minutes to play and walked away with a stunning 41-40 victory. In some ways, that opening defeat set an uphill tone for the Ravens’ disappointing 2025 season.” Brown wrote.

Unfortunately, Baltimore will have to go to Buffalo again this year. Nonetheless, we’ll see if the Ravens can take care of business in 2026.
