On Friday night, the Atlanta Braves will open up a three-game series with the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.
The Braves come into the series after taking two out of three over the Miami Marlins.

This past week, the Braves announced several roster moves with Martin Perez.

The Braves have now brought back Perez to their MLB roster (ahead of Friday’s game).

Perez has gone 0-1 with 3.14 ERA in three games for the Braves this season.
Before the Braves, the 2022 All-Star also spent time with the Texas Rangers, Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres and Chicago White Sox over 15 seasons.
He won the 2023 World Series Championship (with the Rangers).
The Braves enter play as the first-place team in the National League East with a 12-7 record in 19 games.
They have gone 4-3 in seven games on the road.
Meanwhile, the Phillies are 8-10 in 18 games, which has them in fourth-place.
They are 5-7 in 12 games at home.
