The heavyweight division could look very different by the end of Saturday night as Fabio Wardley faces Daniel Dubois in Manchester. The fight, branded “Don’t Blink,” takes place at the Co-op Live on May 9, 2026. It brings together two of the division’s most dangerous punchers, with a combined knockout rate of 95%.
Wardley puts his WBO World Heavyweight Title on the line, while Dubois is chasing a statement win to push back into the title picture. For fans, this is more than just another fight night. It is a high-stakes clash that could decide who leads the next era of British heavyweight boxing.
The fight will stream globally on DAZN as a Pay-Per-View event. That means you will need to pay separately for the fight, even if you already have a subscription. Existing subscribers can buy access directly through the app or website by heading to the event page. New users must first sign up for a DAZN plan before they can purchase the PPV.
DAZN works across most devices. You can watch on Smart TVs like Samsung, LG, and Sony, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, smartphones, tablets, and web browsers. If you prefer a bigger screen, streaming through a laptop or desktop is also supported without extra setup.
The full fight card is set to begin at 6:00 PM BST, which converts to 1:00 PM ET and 10:00 AM PT. That marks the start of the main card, not the headline fight. Wardley and Dubois are expected to make their ring walks around 11:00 PM BST, 6:00 PM ET, and 3:00 PM PT.
Those timings can shift depending on how long the earlier fights last. Knockouts or long decisions on the undercard often affect the schedule. If you want to catch the main event without guessing, it is safer to tune in at least an hour before the expected ringwalk time.
Wardley comes in with a record of 20 wins, no losses, and one draw, with 19 knockouts. His recent win over Joseph Parker showed he can handle pressure and finish fights late. He has built a reputation for durability and power despite starting from a non-traditional background in boxing.
Dubois enters with a 22-3 record and 21 knockouts. After losing to Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch, he needs a win to stay in the title race. His victory over Anthony Joshua proved he still belongs among the top heavyweights. Dubois is expected to rely on his reach and jab early, while Wardley will likely press forward and look for close-range exchanges.
The undercard also adds depth to the event. Bakhodir Jalolov faces Agron Smakici in a heavyweight bout. Jack Rafferty meets Ekow Essuman in a domestic welterweight clash. Liam Cameron takes on Bradley Rea at light-heavyweight. Each fight adds to what is already a packed night.
To avoid issues, it is better to buy the PPV in advance and check your internet connection beforehand. A stable connection of at least 25 Mbps is recommended for smooth streaming, especially in high quality. This is one of those fights where a single punch can end everything. If you look away for even a second, you might miss it.
