Months after the Patriots’ Super Bowl LX appearance, another part of the night is still generating controversy.
According to TMZ Sports, viewers flooded the Federal Communications Commission with complaints following Bad Bunny’s halftime performance during NBC’s broadcast of Super Bowl LX earlier this year.
The outlet reported that more than 2,000 complaints were submitted to the FCC after the performance aired during one of the most-watched television broadcasts of the year.
Several viewers reportedly accused the halftime show of being overly sexualized and inappropriate for a national audience that included families and children watching at home.
According to TMZ Sports, many of the complaints centered around the choreography, camera shots and overall presentation of the performance.
The outlet shared portions of complaints submitted to the FCC, including viewers who reportedly described the show as “sexualized” and inappropriate for a family-oriented sporting event.
Some complaints also reportedly focused on specific dance sequences and visual moments shown during the nationally televised performance.
