Bills Prediction Could Change Everything for Josh Allen

The Buffalo Bills and superstar quarterback Josh Allen are once again expected to be a top-tier Super Bowl contender in the AFC this season.

Once again, the team came up just short last year. They fell victim to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. That has become a trend in recent years for the Bills.

So far this offseason, Buffalo has had a very aggressive approach. Brandon Beane went out and acquired star wide receiver D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears to give Allen a true No. 1 target. The team also signed pass rusher Bradley Chubb in free agency to bolster the defense.

In the 2026 NFL Draft, the Bills doubled down at the wide receiver position. They brought in UConn wide receiver Skyler Bell. He is expected to be an immediate impact player.

With that being said, Buffalo may not view the wide receiver room as complete. Beane might be done this offseason, but a new prediction for next offseason has been made.

Bills Predicted to Add Another Game-Changing Weapon for Josh Allen

ESPN’s Jordan Reid has released a way-too-early 2027 mock draft. When it came to the Bills, he projected that the team would draft Alabama standout wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams.

“Coleman-Williams was fantastic as a freshman in 2024 but tailed off a bit last season while struggling with drops. The talent is clear, and many are expecting a bounce-back year,” Reid wrote.

“He’s a three-level threat with excellent vertical speed to stack defenders. Coleman-Williams also has unique body control to put his frame into positions to catch passes outside of the strike zone. If he can recapture his freshman form, he could be that big-time receiver the Bills desperately need.”

Williams is exactly the kind of dynamic playmaker Buffalo could use. Allen would be a very happy quarterback if the Bills were able to make that prediction become a reality.

What Would Ryan Coleman-Williams Bring to Buffalo?

As mentioned by Reid, Coleman-Williams had a down season in 2025. He caught 49 passes for 689 yards and four touchdowns. Those numbers were a disappointment after his freshman season yielded 48 catches for 865 yards and eight touchdowns.

Coleman-Williams has true star potential. He’ll need to prove it during the 2026 season with Alabama, but he’s widely expected to be a first-round pick in 2027.

Should Buffalo land Coleman-Williams, he would pair nicely with Moore and the rest of the wide receiver talent on the roster. He would bring the kind of deep threat ability the offense doesn’t currently have.

All of that being said, this is clearly a way-too-early prediction. No one knows what to expect from the Bills this season or the 2027 NFL Draft. However, it’s intriguing to think about Coleman-Williams playing alongside of Allen.
