Rickie Fowler and wife, Allison Stokke, announced special news during the Truist Championship.
Rickie Fowler’s wife, Allison Stokke, is cheering on the PGA Tour star as the golfer surges up the leaderboard at the Truist Championship. As Fowler heads into the weekend in contention, the couple announced a heartfelt partnership with the PGA Tour and Truist Championship ahead of Mother’s Day.
Fowler and Stokke took time to give back to Charlotte area families as a way to help honor mothers in the area. Stokke spent time with the mothers for a spa day as Fowler helped work with kids on putting.
“I’m Rickie Fowler and I’m Allison Fowler,” the couple noted in a May 9, 2026, video posted by the PGA Tour. “Today we’re at the Truist Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina, and we’re going to help some local kids do two of my favorite things: work on their golf game and celebrate moms.”
Here’s a look at Fowler and Stokke giving back during the Truist Championship.
During her time with the mothers, Stokke spoke about the impact her mom had on her own life. Fowler and the group of kids surprised the moms, including his wife, with bouquets of flowers.
“I don’t think I would have made it where I made it had it not been for my mom and both my parents,” Stokke explained. “They just maintained this strength that was key to me feeling like I had the strength, too, to do everything I did.”
The couple got married on October 5, 2019, during a small ceremony in San Lucas, Mexico. Fowler and Stokke are the proud parents of two daughters: Maya and Nellie.
During the Truist Championship, Fowler has been battling a bit of a cold, but the golfer revealed that the rest of the family is in good health.
“No, luckily both girls are all good,” Fowler told reporters on May 8. “So I took this one for the team. Yeah, just maybe a little bit rundown last week. It was hot there.
“I wouldn’t say necessarily quick turnaround, but we had a half day at home, flew up here Monday afternoon. So, yeah, body was just a little worn out and said, hey, chill out for a bit. Unfortunately, golf really couldn’t wait, so I had to grind through it, and definitely nice to come out and put myself back into a better spot.”
Stokke knows the life of an athlete given her standout track and field career. Following her impressive collegiate career at Cal, Stokke is now focused on being a mom and sharing moments like the couple revealed at Truist Championship.
“Hey guys, what’s up? It’s Rickie and Allison,” the couple said in a video Fowler posted to his Instagram Stories. “We’re here at the Truist Championship and today is all about giving back.
“I got to spend time with the local kids working on their short game. And while they were out there, I got to hang with their moms for a little well-deserved break and a lot of fun. It’s been such a good day and thanks to our friends at Truist.”
