On Wednesday, the San Diego Padres will play the final game of their series against the Chicago Cubs (at home).

The Padres most recently lost by a score of 8-3 on Tuesday.

Manny Machado did not play in the game (after getting hurt on Monday).

For Wednesday’s game, the Padres have announced their starting lineup.

Machado will be back in action (as DH).

He is currently batting .232 with four home runs, 16 RBI’s, 18 runs and one stolen base in 27 games.

The future Hall of Famer is in his eighth year playing for the Padres.
