On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers played the finale of their series with the Miami Marlins (at home).
The Dodgers lost by a score of 3-2 (and the Marlins took the series 2-1).
Freddie Freeman finished Wednesday’s loss with no hits in five-at bats.

After the tough loss, Freeman made an honest statement about the team’s offense when he met with the media (h/t SportNet LA).
Freeman: “We’ve kinda have been going through it, I would say as a group. Luckily, we have really, really good pitching… As an offense… The last few games haven’t been where we wanted to be.”

Freeman is currently batting .259 with 30 hits, three home runs, 15 RBI’s and 11 runs in 29 games this season.
He is in his fifth year playing for the Dodgers.
Since the 2021 season, Freeman has won three World Series titles (with the Braves and Dodgers).
Katie Woo of The Athletic wrote: “They had the bases loaded with one out, but Freddie Freeman bounces into an unorthodox unassisted double play, and the Dodgers lose to the Marlins, 3-2. That’s a disappointing series loss for LA, esp offensively. They’ll hope to get right this weekend in St. Louis. See you there.”

The Dodgers are still one of the best teams in the MLB despite their offensive struggles.
They are at the top of the National League West with a 20-11 record in 31 games.

At home, the Dodgers have gone 12-6 in 18 games.
Following the Marlins, they will get the day off on Thursday (before visiting the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday).
