On Saturday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers played the Chicago Cubs (at home) in California.
The Dodgers won by a score of 12-4.
Max Muncy finished with one home run, one walk and two RBI’s.
However, he left the game early.

For Sunday’s game, the Dodgers have already announced that Muncy will not be in the lineup.
Dodger Blue wrote (via X): “Max Muncy will be out of the lineup tomorrow, and then back in there on Monday.”

The 35-year-old is still one of the most valuable players on the Dodgers.
He is currently batting .300 with nine home runs, 11 RBI’s and 22 runs in 26 games this season.

Muncy was picked in the 41st round of the 2009 MLB Draft.
He spent the first two seasons of his career with the Athletics.
The two-time All-Star has been with the Dodgers for each of the last nine years.
There is no question that Muncy is on the verge of becoming a franchise legend.
