On Sunday, the Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers (in California) by a score of 7-2.
With the win, the Braves took two out of three in the series.
Mauricio Dubón finished Sunday’s win with one hit and three RBI’s.
Braves Trade With Astros Proves To Be Success

The Braves acquired Dubón in a trade with the Houston Astros over the offseason.
They wrote (via X) on November 19, 2025: “The #Braves today acquired INF Mauricio Dubón from the Houston Astros in exchange for INF Nick Allen:”

So far, the trade has been a massive success for Atlanta.
Dubón is batting .271 with 39 hits, two home runs, 23 RBI’s and 18 runs in his first 39 games with the Braves.
Chipper Jones Impressed By Dubón

One person who has been impressed by Dubón is Braves legend (and Baseball Hall of Famer) Chipper Jones.
Jones (via 92.9 The Game): “You could argue that Mauricio Dubón might be first or second most valuable player on this team… He’s a Swiss Army Knife in the field. Can play the infield, can play the outfield. Has really give Walt the ability to be versatile throughout the lineup.”
