WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever is the betting favorite to take home this year’s league MVP award for the first time.
Clark is listed at +240 odds to win the WNBA MVP award, per DraftKings Sportsbook. Just behind Clark is Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson, who is +265. She has won the league MVP the last two years.
Here are the full top 10 betting odds for the 2026 WNBA MVP award:
The 24-year-old Clark enters her third WNBA season this year, and there is a good reason why she is favored to win league MVP. It’s not just her popularity that has her at the top of the board, but everything she has shown so far during her two years in the league.
In Clark’s first year in the WNBA in 2024, she won the Rookie of the Year award, was an All-Star, and was named to the First All-WNBA team after putting up averages of 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds in 40 games, which saw her finish 4th in league MVP voting.
Last year, in Clark’s second WNBA season in 2025, the sharpshooter dealt with a myriad of injuries that saw her only play in 13 games. Her popularity among fans led to her being named to her second All-Star team, but all across the board, her numbers were down as she took a slight step back in her sophomore year. However, injuries were a big part of that, and the oddsmakers are clearly bullish on her chances to bounce back.
Clark is the favorite to win league MVP right now, and she is getting most of the money bet on her as the fans think she has a good chance to win the award. She is obviously ultra popular among WNBA fanatics, and given her strong performance in her healthy Year 1, plus everything she did in college at Iowa, it makes sense that she is favored to win the WNBA MVP award this year.
A’ja Wilson of the Aces has won the last two WNBA MVP awards and four overall during her incredible career. She sits just behind Clark as the favorite to win the award again, but based on her track record, perhaps it’s Wilson who should be first on the list to take home the honors.
On top of Wilson, there are plenty of other contenders for the award, such as Napheese Collier of the Minnesota Lynx, Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty, and Paige Bueckers of the Dallas Wings. All of them are great players who are expected to have big years for their teams. But it’s Clark who is the favorite to be the most valuable player in women’s basketball this year.
