Former Detroit Lions offensive lineman T.J. Lang delivered a warning to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown over how he handled fan reaction to the hiring of OC Drew Petzing.

Amon-Ra St. Brown once again demonstrated why he’s one of the best players in the National Football League at his respective position, accumulating an impressive 117 receptions for 1,401 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 17 games.

However, St. Brown’s stats weren’t enough to drag the Detroit Lions over the finish line and earn them a third straight trip to the NFL postseason, and they also unfortunately saw their two-year reign atop the NFC North Division come to a close, as the rival Chicago Bears, who are now led by former Lions offensive coordinator, now hold that position.

However, if the way that St. Brown looks during his offseason training is any indication, the Lions could be making a major leap forward in the upcoming 2026 NFL season.

Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown Looks Completely Shredded In Preparation For 2026

A recent photo of a shirtless St. Brown looking completely shredded and in the best shape of his life has been making the rounds on social media, and Lions fans are fired up about the possibilities to come in 2026.

One fan noted, “Amon-Ra St. Brown already had the routes. The hands. The IQ. The separation. Then he did this to his body. Some players prepare for the season. Amon-Ra prepared for a different conversation entirely.”

“St. Brown’s discipline is unmatched. Entering 2026 with elite conditioning ensures he remains the league’s most consistent, explosive offensive threat,” another fan noted.

This fan said, “The Lions’ offense is going to be a problem if he’s coming back even leaner and faster.”

However, not all of the reviews were fully positive.

One fan said, “Hell be buned out by game 13 too. You need some body fat to burn for fuel.”

Keeping in that vein, another fan noted, “This ain’t a body building competition, you need body fat to play football especially if you’re getting hit all the time.”

Amon-Ra St. Brown Said The Lions Will Be Hungrier Next Season

Following their season-ending win over the Bears despite knowing that their playoff chances had been sealed, St. Brown expressed his optimism for what is to come next season, noting the club will be hungrier to get back to their previous position.

“That’s a good question. I wish I had all the answers right now, but I think for us, a lot of us are still gonna be here. The nucleus of this team will still be here. And I think that’s important,” he said. Just, going into next year, knowing the guys you have here, and knowing you’re familiar with the coaches and players. I feel confident with the guys that we have, I know we have a bunch of guys who can make plays, and going into next year, we’ll just be that more hungry. I think even starting in offseason workouts, going into camp to start the season. I think guys will be hungry, because I don’t think any of us want to have a season like we had this year next year.”

“I think that’s the biggest thing, just making sure we don’t repeat the same things.”
