The Dodgers are coming off a 5-4 win on Monday.
Shohei Ohtani finished with three hits, one RBI and one strikeout in five at-bats.

On Tuesday, Ohtani will take the mound as the team’s pitcher.
However, he will not be in the starting lineup (as a batter).

Ohtani is currently batting .278 with 30 hits, six home runs, 13 RBI’s and 21 runs in 28 games this season.
He is also among the top pitchers in the MLB.

Ohtani is in his third season playing for the Dodgers.
He has helped lead the franchise to the World Series Championship in each of the first two years.
The Dodgers are looking to become the first team to win three straight titles since the New York Yankees (1998-2000).
Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic added: “Shohei Ohtani will pitch, but not hit tomorrow, Dave Roberts said. Will be pitching on five days’ rest and there’s a day game Wednesday, which were factors.”

The Dodgers are currently the top team in the National League West with a 20-9 record in 29 games.
They are 12-4 in the 16 games they have played at home.
Following two more games against the Marlins, the Dodgers will head to St. Louis to face off against the Cardinals on Friday night.
