On Thursday night, the New York Knicks beat the Atlanta Hawks (at State Farm Arena) by a score of 140-89.

The Knicks have now won the series (4-2) and are headed to the second round of the 2026 NBA playoffs.

Jordan Clarkson finished Thursday’s closeout win with seven points and one assist while shooting 2/4 from the field and 0/1 from three-point range in 11 minutes of playing time.

After the Game 6 win, Clarkson made a post to Instagram.

He wrote: “next.00”

Clarkson is in his first season playing for New York after signing with the franchise over the offseason.

He finished the year with averages of 8.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest while shooting 45.1% from the field and 32.7% from three-point range in 72 games.

While Clarkson is no longer in his prime at 33, he is still a reliable role player for the Knicks to bring off their bench.

Looking Ahead For New York

After falling into a 2-1 hole, the Knicks did an excellent job of winning three straight games (and two in Atlanta).

They will now await the winner of the series between the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics (which is tied up at 3-3).

Last season, the Knicks reached the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in 25 years.
