I have a new thing when it comes to names.

I'll pick a letter. Just based on vibes

Let's use one I haven't used yet

K

Then I'll use process of elimination using American and Norwegian (those are the languages I know the best) naming conventions and either come up with something that exists that fits the vibe I'm going for, or come up with something new that feels right

OK so we are starting with K which means almost no consonant fits directly after

So now we have aeiouyæøå

Ka - Ke - Ki - Ko - Ku -

Ky - Kæ - Kø - Kå

Well I'm speaking to an English speaker so æøå is basically out automatically

So let's think mostly English rules here: K isn't very commonly used with a double vowel right after so that means we're back to consonants

So work through the A's

Kab, kac, kad, kaf, kag, kah, kaj, kak, kal, kam, kan, kap, kaq, kar, kas, kat, kav, kaw, kax, kay, kaz

From here I start listing names. Kat can be a name by itself. Can't really think of anything that would work with kax kak kag kaj or quite a few more so let's narrow it down

Kacey, Kadence, Kaley, Kamilla, Kara, Kassi, Kat, Kayla

Then I put on my spite hat and think of anything that I can get to work by sheer force of will.

Kaxalyn ha! That's like almost a name and if you were spiteful enough and confident enough you could pull it off. If any of you use the name Kaxalyn you have to tell people you got the name from me 😎

If you don't land on anything with Ka-

Then rinse and repeat with ke- ki- ko- ku- and ky-

You can do that with the whole alphabet.

I had to come up with this because I have a whole universe full of characters and they all need names. (Especially after the whole debacle with "the named one" [this is a reference yall will get in the future when I release The Master's Quest: Remapped] teehee)
