We have a SaaS product and every once in a while, we’ll have an incident (Who us? No! Never!) that first crops up in the community. So I consolidate reports into a single thread as necessary and then monitor / communicate in the thread on an ongoing basis. My preferences are set to Watching as soon as I act in the thread, but I’m wishing for an even higher level of notification: I’m wishing I could set incident threads to Desktop Notification . I’ve got an incident thread going at the moment and I’ve just asked the users for more information. I wish I didn’t have to go back to that window every few minutes to see if we had anything. I’d really like Discourse to call my attention to it more forcefully.
