ProtonVPN fails to connect on kernel 7.0.2-2 with a TimeoutError on add_connection_async during killswitch setup. This affects both WireGuard and OpenVPN protocols. The killswitch code path crashes regardless of protocol chosen. Booting into the LTS kernel (6.18.25-2) fixes the issue immediately with zero other changes, confirming this is a kernel regression.
