I had a problem when updating my linux cachyos system yesterday (using the cachyos builtin update command). After the update, I could not access my desktop (hyprland) after entering my password on the login screen; the screen would just go black (normal) and then appear again with the password field empty (abnormal). However, entering the tty using ctrl+alt+f3 still works. Initially I thought my mirrors were out of date, so I ran ‘sudo cachyos-rate-mirros’ on the tty and ran the update again. did not fix anything. So while I have tried my best to correct my blunder/ fixx the broken update, it’s not working. I have attatched the following picture of the tty where I’ve run the following commands: journalctl -b -p err HYPRLAND_LOG_LEVEL=debug start-hyprland sudo cachyos-bugreport.sh I have been cognizant to the best of my abilities not to do anything brash that would break my system even more. I am on a Samsung Galaxy Book 4, model number NP750XGJ-LG2IN. The Cachyos bug report url is: 12ef1ea PS: In case there is anything missing from my write down, do tell me. This is my first post asking for assistance on the forums, so I’m not aware of the semantics of writing a bug/issue report. Many thanks!
